Wilson Lab - Entomology Research and Extension for Orchards/Vineyards
Based off-campus at the Kearney Agricultural Research and Extension Center (near Fresno, CA), we're an agroecology lab with an applied entomology research and extension program focused on the development, evaluation and adoption of integrated pest management (IPM) practices for orchards and vineyards. Our work spans the molecular to the landscape, and engages with the intertwined ecological, agronomic, social and political-economic dimensions of California agriculture. We're a UC Riverside lab, part of UC Cooperative Extension, and affiliated with the new UC Organic Agriculture Institute. Take a look around, learn more about what we do, and feel free to contact me on Twitter (@treecrops) or by email houston.wilson@ucr.edu
